The Hope Offering 2026
His goodness to us. His greatness through us.
Dear Church Family,
Over the last year, we witnessed some of the greatest displays of God’s goodness to our church. Faced with an uncommon opportunity to expand our campuses, hundreds of families, churches, and partner organizations answered the call as we raised a record-breaking $5M to lay a new foundation for our future.
As we prayed about all the goodness God showed to us, the phrase that we kept hearing was, “My goodness to you is so that I can display my greatness through you.” So, we are stepping out in faith once again — letting God’s blessing to us become God’s blessing through us. Between now and January 31, 2027, we are asking everyone to prayerfully take two steps:
- Give a one-time sacrificial gift, above your regular giving
- Increase your monthly giving in 2027
Our goal is to raise $2M in one-time gifts, alongside increased monthly contributions, which will allow us to be a greater blessing to our cities, reach more people with the message of Jesus, and equip the rising generation to be world-changers.

What is the Hope Offering?
At the end of each year, we give sacrificially, above our regular giving, to initiatives that accelerate our mission as a church.
However, the Hope Offering is not just about funding projects. It’s about becoming more like Jesus and, by faith, learning to surrender all we are and have for what matters most to Him.

The Jerusalem church was blessed, but stayed put.
The scattered church went out, but stayed inward.
The Antioch church modeled a different way…

Alpha
Alpha remains our most fruitful path to faith, with thousands of people attending and hundreds placing their faith in Jesus. We’ll continue to amplify our Alpha efforts across all campuses and equip other churches in the Bay Area to leverage it as well.
Space Improvement
We’ll continue to create welcoming spaces where those far from God can experience Jesus. Through thoughtful improvements, we can remove distractions, help people can encounter God, and take their next step.

Partnering with Coalition Alleviating Poverty Silicon Valley to empower our neighbors to break generational cycles of poverty.
CityTeam
Supporting CityTeam in providing food, shelter, and addiction recovery services to those in need.

Helping vulnerable children find loving, stable homes through Foster the City, a growing movement now serving communities across nine states.
Global Partnerships
Extending the hope and message of Jesus to communities around the world by meeting urgent needs and supporting the unique work of each ministry partner.

As a sending church, we refuse to keep God’s blessing to ourselves. Through the Hope Offering, we are stepping across new thresholds to multiply Gospel impact across our region.

We’re sending the Zeier family to plant Overflow City Church near Stanford University, bringing the life-giving message of Jesus to students, faculty, and families in one of the world’s most influential and spiritually hungry cities.

We’re supporting David Jackson as he prepares to launch The Collective Church in the heart of Oakland, with a vision to see transformation throughout the city.

Richel Dapudong is planting Encounter Life Church in the Willow Glen neighborhood. Born out of Bold Church (an Echo church plant), this new church marks an exciting next step as one of our church plants begins multiplying across the Bay.

We’re exploring a strategic partnership with City Center Church, just one mile from UC Berkeley, to reach students and the surrounding community, share resources, and create new opportunities for ministry across the Bay Area.

Just as the Church in Antioch leveraged its blessings to empower surrounding churches, we are called to bless the broader body of Christ across our region.
Last year, we served over 1,500 Bay Area pastors and ministry leaders and, through your sacrificial giving, we will expand this reach even further. Because when you give to Echo, everybody gets better, and our collective impact multiplies.
TELOS AI Conference
Hosting a regional conference to help church and marketplace leaders navigate artificial intelligence with biblical wisdom. Coming April 29, 2027.
Collaborative Networks
Continuing to fuel various networks such as the Bay Area Church Planting Network (BACPN), which connects, equips, and encourages church planters while uniting churches to support them.
Exponential
West
Co-organizing one of the premier church-multiplication gatherings on the West Coast to resource church planters and church leaders.
Regional Gatherings
Scaling multi-church events, such as our regional Men’s Retreat, to build deeper Kingdom unity across the region.
The Invitation
Scripture models two powerful rhythms of Kingdom impact: bringing a sacrificial offering to conquer new ground (1 Chronicles 29:14) and maintaining regular, systematic giving to sustain the mission (1 Corinthians 16:2).

ContactView Your Giving RecordsEcho’s Directional Leadership Team (DLT), under the accountability of our board, will assess our priorities and determine the best ways to invest our resources for maximum Kingdom impact.
Echo is accountable to an internal Board of Trustees and an external Board of Overseers, which work with our DLT to ensure our stewardship systems are above reproach. We also voluntarily submit to an annual audit by a reputable third-party firm.
The Hope Offering is a call to give a sacrificial one-time gift above your regular giving. However, if Echo is your church, our prayer is that you would also increase your regular giving and, at minimum, commit to faithfully tithe in 2027 — giving the first 10% of your income as a way of honoring God with your resources and fueling our collective mission.
We invite you to give to the Hope Offering by January 31, 2027. If possible, we encourage you to give by December 31, 2026. Many of our ministry partners are already planning for 2027 and looking to us for funding commitments. The sooner we have clarity on our giving, the better we can plan ahead and support our partners as we step into the new year together.

A tax-efficient way to bless the Kingdom is to give stocks, IRAs, or crypto, as you and the church are exempt from capital gains. You can also give through your company’s matching fund or other third-party donor-advised funds.
