echoKIDS is a children’s ministry uniquely designed with your child in mind.
At echoKIDS, our goal is for your child to say, “I can’t wait for church!” Every week, we create an exciting, engaging environment where kids can grow in their faith and have fun doing it. Across all our campuses, kids experience:
• Dynamic Bible teaching that helps them understand God’s truth
• Fun worship designed just for their age group
• Small-group activities that help them apply what they learn
All of this happens in a safe and welcoming space so you can relax and enjoy a distraction-free worship experience, knowing your child is well cared for and having a great time.
A Safe & Secure Environment
At echoKIDS, your child’s safety is our top priority. Every staff member and volunteer who serves with children has completed a background check and training in accordance with California AB 506 standards, ensuring the highest level of care and accountability.
Our secure check-in and check-out process provides added peace of mind: when you arrive, you and your child will receive matching identification tags unique to your family and your visit. Your child will wear their name tag during the service, and at pickup, you’ll present your matching tag to the echoKIDS team before your child is released. This simple system ensures that every child is safely checked in and leaves only with their designated parent or guardian.
Partnering with Parents
Lasting faith grows best through partnership between the church and the parents. You are the greatest spiritual influence in a child’s life, and our role is to come alongside you with support, encouragement, and practical tools to help your child know and follow Jesus.
Through engaging Bible lessons, family resources, and intentional communication, our volunteers and staff work to reinforce at church what you’re already modeling at home. When the church and family work together, a child’s opportunity to say Yes! to Jesus — and to live out their faith with confidence — grows stronger than ever.
Children with Special Needs
We believe every person created by God reflects the body of Christ — including every child in all their uniqueness. Our Special Needs program creates a safe and welcoming space where children can learn about Jesus and experience His love in ways that meet them where they are. With trained buddies, calming environments, and flexible indoor and outdoor spaces, children are cared for with excellence and compassion — so parents can fully engage in worship, finding rest, renewal, and encouragement. Our goal is to offer this ministry at every service, allowing families to worship together consistently.

At our Sunnyvale and North San Jose campuses, we offer a dedicated Sensory Room designed for children with special needs. This calming, adaptive space provides a safe and supportive environment where every child can experience God’s love and engage at their own pace. Our trained echoKIDS team tailors each child’s experience to their unique needs — ensuring they feel comfortable, cared for, and included as they learn about Jesus.
Upon arrival, look for the area designated for first-time families or ask one of our friendly EchoKIDS volunteers. We will meet your family and walk through the check-in process. Once your family is checked in, we will be happy to show you the age-appropriate room we have created for your child.
When checking in for the first time, we will ask for the following personal information:
- Family member’s names
- Children’s names and birth dates
- Address
- Phone number
- Any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your child
