About

Find Your Community

Whether you’re exploring Christianity or have followed Jesus for a while, Echo Groups are one of the best ways to grow in faith, connect in friendships, and make a difference with your life.

Our groups typically consist of 8 to 15 people who meet weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly in different locations around the Bay Area. Joining an Echo Group helps you experience the benefits of being connected within a community of faith.

About

Echo Groups are:

Diverse

Groups range in size and topic, reflecting a diverse variety of passions and interests.

Seasonal

They run on a trimester cycle (fall, spring, and summer), so you can easily explore different topics based on your current season.

Versatile

Each group leader determines their meeting cadence and schedule, so there is bound to be a group that fits your schedule.

Groups Schedule

While the current semester of groups is in session, you can still join a group at any time. The fall 2025 semester ends Sunday, December 13.

Lead or Host a Group

Leading or hosting a group is one of the most impactful ways you can help people grow in their faith and build community. You don’t need to have all the answers — just a willingness to create space for people to connect, grow, and follow Jesus together.

Whether you’d like to facilitate a Bible study, host a group in your home, or lead a group around a shared interest, we’ll equip you with the tools and support you need every step of the way.

More About Groups

If you have additional questions or need help, let us know.

Group Length

Groups in spring and fall usually run for four months (semester cycle). Summer groups start in early June and conclude at the end of July. If groups have already launched, you are welcome to join at any time during the semester. Although our groups run on semester cycles, many of them meet on a long-term basis, giving you the option to continue in your group from semester to semester or switch groups based on your season of life.

Childcare

Some groups offer childcare, which would be noted in the group description. In such cases, a small fee may be applicable.

Cost

No, all groups are free, except when there’s a cost for curriculum or supplies related to your group. In those cases, the price will be mentioned in your group description.

Joining a Group at Any Campus

Yes, but we encourage you to join a group closest to where you live or the campus you attend, since that will make it easier for you to experience long-term friendships and connections with those in your group.
