The Hope Offering 2026

His goodness to us. His greatness through us.

Dear Church Family,

Over the last year, we witnessed some of the greatest displays of God’s goodness to our church. Faced with an uncommon opportunity to expand our campuses, hundreds of families, churches, and partner organizations answered the call as we raised a record-breaking $5M to lay a new foundation for our future.

As we prayed about all the goodness God showed to us, the phrase that we kept hearing was, “My goodness to you is so that I can display my greatness through you.” So, we are stepping out in faith once again — letting God’s blessing to us become God’s blessing through us. Between now and January 31, 2027, we are asking everyone to prayerfully take two steps:

  1. Give a one-time sacrificial gift, above your regular giving
  2. Increase your monthly giving in 2027

Our goal is to raise $2M in one-time gifts, alongside increased monthly contributions, which will allow us to be a greater blessing to our cities, reach more people with the message of Jesus, and equip the rising generation to be world-changers.

In Christ,

Filipe & Mandy

“May God be gracious to us and bless us and make his face shine on us – so that your ways may be known on earth, your salvation among all nations.”

— Psalm 67:1-2 (NIV)

Our Progress

As of October 14, 2026

As of Dec 26, we have raised $3.21 million of our $5 million goal

What is the Hope Offering?

At the end of each year, we give sacrificially, above our regulargiving, to initiatives that accelerate our mission as a church.

However, the Hope Offering is not just about funding projects. It’s about becoming more like Jesus and, by faith, learning to surrender all we are and have for what matters most to Him.

An Uncommon Church

The church in Antioch of Syria – Acts 11-13

When God blesses us, we can hoard the blessing, thinking it’s just for our comfort, or we can let His grace in us become fuel for His power through us.

‍

The Jerusalem church was blessed, but stayed put.
The scattered church went out, but stayed inward.
The Antioch church modeled a different way…

“And the power of the Lord was with them… large numbers believed  and turned to the Lord…. evidence of God’s blessing.”

— Acts 11:21-23 (NIV)

When God blesses us, we can hoard the blessing, thinking it’s just for our comfort, or we can let His grace in us become fuel for His power through us.

They intentionally focused on those far from God.

“Began preaching to the Greeks (unbelievers) about the Lord”  11:20

They grew large in gathering and deep in impact.

“Teaching large crowds… believers were first called Christians” 11:26

They addressed the hunger of the rising generation.

“Predicted by the Spirit that a great famine was coming…” 11:28

They were serious about developing diverse leaders.

“Among the prophets and teachers of the church at Antioch…” 13:1

They prayerfully and courageously multiplied.

“After more fasting and prayer, they… sent them” 13:3

They sacrificially gave to God’s work.

“Everyone giving as much as they could” 11:29

The Next Generation

According to Barna research, this rising generation is extremely open to God. “Over three in four U.S. teens (77%) say they are at least somewhat motivated (52% very, 25% somewhat) to continue learning about Jesus throughout the rest of their lives.”

The harvest is ready — but is the next generation ready to lead? In 2026, we will invest intentionally in training and equipping the next generation to carry the mantle of faith into the future.

The Invitation

This is a threshold moment unlike any other. Reaching our God-sized goal of $5 million will be impossible without the sacrifice of every person at Echo. We invite you to:

Make a Gift

‍It’s time to step out in faith. Every gift matters. Every sacrifice counts.

You can make a one-time gift or set up recurring giving via ACH or debit/credit card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay. You can also simply and securely give non-cash assets, such as stocks and crypto.

How are the decisions made regarding fund allocation?

Echo’s Directional Leadership Team (DLT), under the accountability of our board, will assess our priorities and determine the best ways to invest our resources for maximum Kingdom impact.

How does Echo steward its resources?

Echo is accountable to an internal Board of Trustees and an external Board of Overseers, which work with our DLT to ensure our stewardship systems are above reproach. We also voluntarily submit to an annual audit by a reputable third-party firm.

One-time gift or recurring?

The Hope Offering is a call to give a sacrificial one-time gift above your regular giving. However, if Echo is your church, our prayer is that you would also increase your regular giving and, at minimum, commit to faithfully tithe in 2026 — giving the first 10% of your income as a way of honoring God with your resources and fueling our collective mission.

What are you asking me to do?

We’re inviting you to give to the Hope Offering by January 31, 2026. If possible, please give by December 31, 2025. Many of these initiatives depend on immediate funding so that we maintain strong momentum.

Where and how should I give? How can I maximize my giving?

You can give by going to echo.church/give. Select your campus, then select the “Hope Offering” fund.

‍

A tax-efficient way to bless the Kingdom is to give stocks, IRAs, or crypto, as you and the church are exempt from capital gains. You can also give through your company’s matching fund or other third-party donor-advised funds.
